Standalone Sermon: Tourist or Pilgrim? – Jun 14, 2026
Some journeys feel like quick getaways. Others slowly change the way we see God, ourselves, and the world. This week at Community, we’re pausing our regular series for a standalone message called “Tourist or Pilgrim?”, drawing from Isaiah 40:31 and its picture of people who find fresh strength as they place their hope in the Lord. Instead of moving through life as spectators or spiritual tourists, we’ll reflect on what it means to walk as pilgrims—people who are learning to be carried, renewed, and sustained by God in every season, especially when we feel weary or stretched thin. Join us as we worship, open Scripture, and ask what it looks like to have our strength renewed by the God who never grows tired.
