Discipleship in an Instant World: Trusting an Unexpected God – Aug 11, 2024

In the midst of Hong Kong’s hottest summer, it’s easy to feel overwhelmed by the unexpected—whether that be sudden rain or just how hot things have suddenly gotten! Yet, in these moments, we are reminded to lean on an unexpected God who strengthens us from within. As Ephesians 3:16 (NIV) shares, “I pray that out of his glorious riches he may strengthen you with power through his Spirit in your inner being.” God often works in ways we least expect, providing hope and strength in the most surprising circumstances. So let us stay strong and trust in the unexpected God who fortifies us from within.
