SPECTRUM IS a community of secondary school and college/university students from a variety of cultural and socio-economic backgrounds. Our volunteers are God-fearing, faithful, compassionate, self-aware professionals, also from different walks of life, who help navigate our youth to seek Gods’ purpose for their lives.
Together, we learn about:
- Why the Bible is still relevant today
- What it says about the different situations we go through
- How to follow Jesus’ example and share what we’ve learned with our family, friends at school, online, on the field, court or in the pool.
MISSION
To create a safe and creative space where youth can connect together through friendship, fun, fellowship, faith (formation) and food whilst experiencing God’s love and relevance in their lives.
VISION
To encourage the youth of Community Church Hong Kong to develop a relationship with the God of love to give them the confidence to face life with hope.
For more info and any questions, feel free to email Grace (grace@communitychurch.hk), or call her on 5912-3880.
Throughout the festive season, we will have:
Daily 1:1 catch ups
Virtual weekly devotionals
Digital discipleship (Confirmation Classes and Spectrum Youth)
When safe to do so, small group dinners (no more than 4) hosted at Grace’s place (Soup-er Saturdays), will recommence
Miss seeing your faces and hearing your voices, so let’s join together.
Bring your dinner, lunch or breakfast and let’s catch up and connect from our comfy couches and in our cosy clothes.
Loving our neighbour means regularly seeking and serving in ways to help those in need within our city. Please refer to our Outreach page.
Pray that I may proclaim it as clearly as I should. Be wise in the way you act towards outsiders; make the most of every opportunity. Let your conversation be always full of grace, seasoned with salt, so that you may know how to answer everyone.
