On Saturday, December 17th from 2:30pm to 4pm, we will have a group of 10 visiting YWCA Cheng Pon Hing (CPH) Care & Attention Home to celebrate Christmas with the elderly.
Participants will visit two groups of elderly: first, the really frail and physically/cognitively challenged; and second, the relatively less frail group. For both groups, we will have a simple Christmas message, Christmas carols and Santa distributing presents.
As we will be visiting a space of care for elderly who are relatively frail, Cheng Pon Hing listed the following requirements:
- Children will not be able to participate in this event.
- The group will strictly be kept at a maximum of 10 persons (including the person dressed as Santa Claus).
- All volunteers take the polymerase chain reaction (PCR) test 48 hours before. It would be preferable for volunteers to take the PCR test after 4pm on Thursday, December 15.
- All volunteers will have to take the Rapid Antigen Test (RAT) on the spot before entering the venue. Test kits will be supplied by CPH.
- All volunteers must keep their masks on at all times throughout the visit.
We look forward to serving alongside you. To sign up for this, click here.
