Brenda Loong is our Pastoral Associate and she joined Community Church upon completion of her seminary training from Regent College in Vancouver. She spent most of her formative years in Singapore and then went on to study for several years in both Australia and the UK. Brenda has experience in the corporate world and so one of her areas of passion is the integration of faith and work. She also loves journeying with her community through all of life and she has a heart for cultivating authenticity in the ways we relate to one another in the body of Christ.

Grace Ghattas is our Youth Director and she came from Australia in January 2014 and began attending CCHK shortly afterward. A successful and enriching education achieved the School Captain appointment at Kilvington Grammar School and led to continued studies at RMIT University in Business, Marketing and Advertising and represented the university on the industry board. After graduating, Grace worked in management, training and development in sports and recreation, advertising, retail, government, travel and tourism. From a young age, Grace was regularly at church and passionately involved in community service, children’s and youth work and music. Significant life-changing experiences led to continued trust in God.  She faithfully let go of the corporate world in HK to accept the role as Youth Director and continues to incorporate service in the HK community as Outreach Co-Ordinator. She is fluent in Egyptian Arabic, enjoys learning Cantonese, Mandarin, French and Italian, plays hockey, running, swimming, hiking, playing guitar, singing, reading, traveling, cooking and eating!
