Ekklesia in the Marketplace: Living Out Our Faith at Work

Faith and Work is delighted to host Ekklesia in the Marketplace: Living Out Our Faith at Work on Saturday, May 20th, 9:30-12:00. Held at Community Church, this morning will be a time of sharing by Stephen Wong and Anita Chang Wong, a couple whom God has been leading to live out their faith at work, to bring Ekklesia, the church, into their work spaces. Along with their powerful sharing, there will be a workshop time for you to think how God may be leading you to bring transformation into your own workplace, and practical steps in that direction.

Stephen is the current Deputy Director and Head of Public Policy Institute of Our Hong Kong Foundation, Adjunct Associate Professor, Institute of China Business, University of Hong Kong SPACE, and Adjunct Lecturer at the Chinese University of Hong Kong for the Master of Social Science in Global Political Economy (for full bio, please see below). Anita is a solicitor who longs to witness God in her workplace. Seven years ago when she had been working long hours and searching for the meaning of work, God showed her that she could be a minister at her law firm and worship God in her workplace through her legal work. She experienced that God transformed not just individual lives, but also the spiritual climate of her workplace. Together Anita and Stephen parent a 22-month old boy.
